In February we'll visit the walled city of Lucca in northwest Tuscany, where we'll stay in a medieval tower at the center of town. We'll then proceed to the ancient Roman-bath spa town of Bagno Vignoni, where the town square itself is a thermal pool. And of course we'll be enjoying the storied food and wine of Toscana, without the tourist crowds we'd find in high season.
