An Overnight in Chianti

A couple of weekends ago, we headed up to Chianti, to play a wedding at a vineyard there. We’re very lucky to have such a beautiful workplace! And we’re going back in two days to play there again. Here are a few images from that last trip.

One of the things we did, before and after the gig, was to explore the nearby town of Castellina in Chianti. We’ve visited this area, and this town, countless times over the years; and we’ve sent many clients there to eat, drink, and stay.

On this trip we tried out a new place to stay, one that we’ll recommend to our travel clients; and the trip provided us with a good excuse to try out a new restaurant, too. But the nicest thing about the whole jaunt was to just take in the scenery of Chianti - it’s practically impossible to take a bad photo in this region. (And it’s equally impossible to find a bad glass of wine!)
